    At Greens Furnishings, we offer a professional curtain alteration service to help you make the most of the curtains you already love. Whether they no longer fit your windows or just need refreshing, our experienced workroom team can carry out a wide range of adjustments with care and precision.

    Common curtain alterations include shortening or lengthening the fabric to suit a new space, as well as changing the curtain heading, for example, from pencil pleat to eyelet or wave. These small changes can make a big difference in how your curtains hang and complement your room.

    One of the most popular requests we receive is to re-line existing curtains. If your curtain fabric is still in good condition but the linings are worn or faded, replacing the lining can extend the life of your curtains by many more years. It’s an ideal solution for high-quality or sentimental pieces that deserve to be preserved.

I have used Greens twice now. The first was 3 years ago when they fitted a wide blackout blind, French door blinds and a bespoke roller blind when I wanted specific fabric. A fantastic service all round. Just had another black out roller blind fitted. Quick and efficient. Turn up when they say. I wouldn't buy anywhere else.

Great selection of blinds to choose from. Staff offered friendly and helpful advice. Opted for a set of 3 venetian blinds. These were measured and fitted perfectly. Really happy with the price. We will definitely be ordering from Greens again, and can highly recommend.

Curtains beautifully made and finished off, just had to hang them, gathered up and hooks attached. All members of staff were brilliant, none of them could have been more helpful. I arranged to collect the curtains but got stuck in traffic and knew I was going to be late and they would be closed. The person I spoke to on the phone said he would wait till I got there which was after 5.00pm. They are a really good well established company. We have used them in the past and parents before us. Can highly recommend. Thank you Greens.

Very impressed with our visit. We were looking for vertical blinds and curtains. Helpful and friendly service without any pressure to buy. Showroom has a comprehensive range of both blinds and curtains as well as carpets and other flooring.We left with samples and at our request we made an appointment for a home visit to measure up and give us a quote. They also provide a fitting service. We believe that this is one of the best places to go in the area if you are looking for curtains, blinds, carpets, etc.
