Motorised Blinds

Blinds choices are made in the usual way, then there is the option of controlling them manually or by remote.  

We have found that Roller, Day and Night (Vision) and Roman blinds are the most popular blinds in Huddersfield, to be motorised. This may be due to simplicity in which the way the blinds work. They are ideal for out of reach windows and people with mobility issues. 

The motor and battery are normally part of the blind and simply by plugging in a charger (very similar to a phone charger) they are charged. The charge normally would last 6 to 9 months but can often be longer depending on size of blind and frequency of use. We find reliable brands, Somfi and Louvoilte, to be the leaders in motorisation. 

For those wanting to take it a step further, the blinds can be linked to a hub which in turn can link with your router enabling them to be controlled from a smart phone app.
